Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Technology Business Consultant Senior in St. Petersburg, FL, to work individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. Serve as liaison between end-users and consultants during IT and technology consulting projects. Research and document client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. Define product scope, objectives and requirements. Define specifications and data models for product development and testing. Create detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyze marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products, and services. Analyze system impacts to other systems and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related occupation: defining technology product scope, objectives and requirements; defining data models for product development testing; assessing available technologies including payment processing, clearing, merchant account system, data warehousing, data mining, data profiling, and user acceptance testing, and recommending solutions; writing test plans and test cases to enhance applications; conducting system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests; creating detailed specifications for programs; participating in multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles including Waterfall and conversion methodologies; demonstrating knowledge of business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML) and use cases; utilizing quality management methods, tools and technologies; utilizing application programming languages including PL/SQL, C, HTML, .NET and Unix Shell Scripting; developing solutions that require analysis and research; working on projects and issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple technical areas including business analysis, business intelligence, business analytics, requirements gathering, IT implementations, project management, change management, patch management and techno functional areas of banking domain and business segments including merchant processing system, issuing and acquiring. 15% travel is required to various and unanticipated FIS office and client sites nationally. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in one of the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above- mentioned skills.
