The Program Management Consultant will support the Defense Health Agency with a large transformation; key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support meetings with the senior leaders across the MHS, which may include preparing briefing slides, documenting due outs, and following up on next steps
  • Manage recurring deliverables; seek input from other members of the team and develop drafts
  • Draft Information Papers/Memos outlining Policy Guidance to stakeholders across the MHS
  • Work with stakeholders to document processes and develop process flows
  • Analyze healthcare metrics to make informed and data driven recommendations


The individual in this role should demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership
  • Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work successfully as part of a team and effectively collaborate with internal and external senior-level stakeholders to achieve shared organizational goals
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead others
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing recurring deliverables

The individual in this role should have:

  • Minimum degree required: Bachelor's Degree; Business degree preferred
  • US Citizenship required
    • 1 year' experience

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Experience supporting a military service branch, the Military Health System or a large health system
  • Proven ability to support business development activities to help identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new/existing clients
